Kristine Sa was born in Vietnam, immigrated with her family (including high-profile sister, Vietnamese singer, Tam Doan) at age 6 and grew up in Toronto, Canada, and began her official singing career at the age of 17 under Nemesis Records. Kristine's career took off with the release of her debut album, I Never Knew [2002], with sales reaching as far out as Taiwan, Australia, and the United Kingdom. She continued her legacy with her second album, reBIRTH [2004]; her anime project, AnimeToonz3: Kristine Sa (Lemon and Lime Editions) [2005]; and, finally, Hopeless Romantic in February of 2007. She is well-known in the Anime community for her involvement in such shows as 'Suzuka', 'One Piece', and 'Ouran High School Host Club', as well as her concerts at countless Anime conventions throughout the United States.
Most recently she's released the first song she's written using her first language, Vietnamese. The track titled "My Last Goodbye" (available on iTUNES) has gotten countless attention for its clever play on languages, seamlessly weaving in and out of English and Vietnamese in lyrical context. To this day she continues to pave the way for a new and unique brand of Pop music.
