The Company

Established in 2006, Vietnamese Modeling Project, LLC is a joint-venture partnership. We are an entertainment production company with an aim to provide a vital platform to help create diversity and opportunity within the modeling and fashion industry between the Vietnamese community and the American mainstream. We exist to promote and expose the vital role that Vietnamese partake within our multicultural nation and to enhance the overall perception of the Vietnamese ethnicity.

Vision

Vietnamese Modeling Project is proud to announce that we will be cross-promoting with Thirteen Minutes magazine. Thirteen minutes is a premiere bicultural Asian magazine that has national distribution throughout the United States. Together, we strive to create a forum where the young Asian generation can come together in order to recognize and appreciate our own sense of uniqueness. For that reason, Vietnamese Modeling Project focuses on helping the Vietnamese community take part in the Asian movement. In turn, this will diversify the mainstream media with more Asian representation and properly reflect the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures.

Mission

Our mission is to be the premiere entertainment production for the fast growing 2nd generation Vietnamese in North America and abroad. Over the past three decades the Vietnamese American community has grown to be a fundamental audience for advertisers. From 1990-2000, the Vietnamese population has elevated to one of the highest growth rates amongst any ethnic group; it profoundly ranks the third highest in purchasing power.
Yet, unfortunately, there is still not a single event that defines the general image of the many young Vietnamese of today. Hence, Vietnamese Modeling Project is created to fill these gaps and revolutionize the Vietnamese American pop culture.
